In addition, the RC 5 hotplate is IP42 certified and it ensures a high level of safety and protection for laboratory operators.

The internal electronic parts are protected by the insulating disk, which, together with the robust die-cast aluminum housing makes the RC 5 a durable and reliable hotplate.  

Various safety functions, such as safety circuits and over-temperature protection, protect users in their daily operations. Two illuminated indicators always inform the operator when the heating is on. Furthermore, the icon stays on when the temperature of the plate is above 50°C even if the instrument is switched off.

The RC 5 is designed for the most extended lifespan and guaranteed by a 3-year warranty.
